NBM obtains a net income of over MDL 330 mln

In the first nine months of 2006 the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) obtained a net income amounting to MDL 331.63 mln, according to the publicized bookkeeping balance shit. The incomes will be evaluated in the end of the year. The assets of the central bank amounted to MDL 13.89 bln on September 30, the highest share of it being in cash and short-term availabilities – MDL 5.21 bln and investment bonds – MDL 3.59 bln. The statutory capital of the National Bank of Moldova constitutes MDL 200 mln, and the reserve fund – MDL 319.17 mln.
