The largest and only national day in the world dedicated to the Wine of Moldova and Moldovan winemaking traditions will take place on the first weekend of next month, on October 7 and 8. By tradition, the event will be held in the Great National Assembly Square, IPN reports.
According to the National Office of Vine and Wine, the 22nd edition of the National Wine Day will bring together 90 winemakers under the umbrella of the country wine brand name “Wine of Moldova”. They will proudly present their creations: well-known wines that were awarded at international competitions, wines made of grapes harvested this year, and new launches.
The event takes place in the context of the tenth anniversary of the launch of the country wine brand name “Wine of Moldova. A legend alive” at international level.
The National Wine Day is organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry with the assistance of the strategic partner USAID Moldova, through the agency of the Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity.
