The national Under 21 team of Moldova tied 1-1 the first match at the 2015 CIS Cup played against the squad of Kirgizstan. To the goal scored by Dan Spataru in the 72nd minute, the Kyrgyz team replied ten minutes later through Bekzhan Sagynbaev, IPN reports.

‘The lack of concentration prevented us from winning. Nothing is lost yet. We will prepare for the next matches,” Moldova coach Igor Ursachi told a news conference.

“We are satisfied with the result because we didn’t have much time to adjust ourselves to the conditions. We arrived in Saint Petersburg only today,” said the coach of the national team of Kirgizstan Mirlan Eshenov.

The team trained by Igor Ursachi on January 18 plays against the host, Russia, which leads in the group after beating Latvia by 1-0. Last year, the U21 team of Moldova ranked tenth at the CIS Cup.
