The national Under-16 basketball team of Moldova suffered a new defeat in the FIBA European Championship Division C that is held in Andorra. Moldova was beaten by Armenia 37-78, IPN reports.
The Armenian team won by 19-12, 24-7, 19-4 and 16-14. Thus, Armenia took revenge on Moldova for the 51-75 defeat suffered last year.
The Moldovan team included the following players: Sorocean, Hmirov, Rybak, Kochorev, Fraseniuc, Spataru, Rady, Miseailo, Lobanov and Spinachi.
On July 27, Moldova plays Malta. Earlier, the team trained by Oleg Dical defeated Wales 64-55 and lost to Gibraltar 55-85.
Two teams of the two groups that will rank first qualify for the semifinals.
