National U-18 team rank last in Belarus

The national Under-18 football squad finished last in the international tournament held in Belarus. In the last match for the seventh place played on January 26, Moldova lost to Georgia 2-4, Info-Prim Neo reports. The young Moldovan players were in the lead after the goals scored by Daniel Cater and Dumitru Golubtsov, but could not hold it till the end. In the tournament in Belarus, the footballers trained by Nicolae Bunea were beaten by Ukraine (0-6), Russia (0-6), and Latvia (1-2). The competition involved eight national teams with players born in 1996.
