The national women’s tennis team found out its opponents in the 2020 Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group 2, IPN reports.
At the Fed Cup, Moldova will play against Israel, Georgia and Tunisia and the matches will take place in Helsinki during February 4-7.
The competition in Finland will involve eight teams that were divided into two groups. The first two ranked teams will qualify for the semifinals and the finalists will enter the Europe/Africa Zone Group 1.
Moldova’s lineup includes Anastasia Vdovenco, Daniela Ciobanu and Iana Tishchenko. The first encounter, with Tunisia, was set for February 4.
