The victory scored against Saudi Arabia and the draw with Canada didn’t help the national team of Moldova to remain among the top 100 national squads of the world. The team trained by Ion Caras slipped two spots to the 101st in the new FIFA rankings released on June 5, IPN reports.

On June 7, Moldova meets Cameroon, which ranks 56th. The match is played in the capital of the African state Yaounde, starting at 5pm, Moldova’s time.

Moldova’s opponents in the qualifying competition of the UEFA Euro 2016 take the following positions: Russia – 19th, Sweden – 32nd, Austria – 42nd, Montenegro – 51st, while Liechtenstein – 162nd.

The FIFA rankings are topped by the world and European champion Spain, which is followed by Germany and Brazil.
