The National Social Assistance Agency will merge with the National Social Support Fund and will become the lawful successor of the absorbed entity. This is provided in a draft decision proposed by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection for public consultations, IPN reports.
According to the authors of the draft decision, the National Social Assistance Agency will ensure more efficient management and control over the financing areas of the special destination programs in the sphere of social assistance.
The implementation of the decision will imply costs, but will also generate savings owing to the diminution of the administrative costs for maintaining the managerial staffs of two entities existing now. When the National Social Support Fund is absorbed, the National Social Assistance Agency will manage a broader area of activity with a common administrative staff that will include the manager, an accounting office, a human resources service and a legal service.
