The national rugby team of Moldova slipped seven spots to the 56th in the world rankings. Moldova suffered defeats in the first two matches of the European Nations Cup, Division 3, IPN reports.
Moldova lost away to Sweden 6-80 and to Hungary at home 16-31. Next year on April 13, Moldova play away against Luxemburg, while on April 20 at home against Ukraine.
The national rugby team this year was demoted to the third division after playing for 14 years in the second division.
