The National Radio Day will be celebrated annually in Moldova on November 1, IPN reports.
According to the Cabinet’s secretary general Artur Mija, such a day was instituted in gratitude for the service of the people who contributed to the development of radio communications and informing of listeners.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean approved of the work done by those who transmit radio waves and those who speak on the radio, noting that when there are catastrophes, only the radio waves remain.
