The revenues collected into the national public budget in January 2021 came to 4.96 billion lei, an increase of 251.1 million lei compared with January 2020. The expenditure totaled 5 billion lei, up 252.2 million lei on last January. The national public budget was executed with a deficit of 38.5 million lei, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The state budget revenues in the first half of this month added up to 3 billion lei, up 262.2 million lei compared with the corresponding period last year. The revenues collected by the State Tax Service came to 1.6 billion lei, while those collected by the Customs Service to 1.5 billion lei. The state budget expenditure was 3.6 billion lei, while the deficit – 611.7 million lei.
The interim Government assures that it ensured the payment of salaries and social welfare and there are sufficient financial resources for fully covering all the related costs on time.
