The National Participation Council has launched its online informational platform. The website www.cnp.md provides information about the activities performed by the Council and its member organizations. It also includes news about the cooperation between the Council and the Government of Moldova as well as other bodies of the central public administration, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Council.
One of the goals of the portal is to promote the involvement of civil society and other interested sides in public decision making and monitoring. Through its website, the Council intends to encourage partnerships between civil society and the bodies of the central public administration and to contribute to a more transparent and participative decision-making process. Those interested can subscribe to the news update.
The National Participation Council is a consultative body created at the start of 2010 at the Government’s suggestion. It consists of 30 representatives of civil society. The Council is designed to facilitate the participation of the interested sides in the formulation, implementation, monitoring, assessment and updating of strategic planning documents.
