The Government allocated 500,000 lei from its reserve fund for organizing the participation of the Moldovan delegation in the National Day of Moldova within Expo Milano 2015 on August 29, IPN reports.
Moldova takes part in this world exhibition with an own pavilion for the first time. Expo Milano 2015 includes different events with economic and cultural impact, while the National Days of the participating states play a special role. Since the launch of the world exhibition on May 1, 114 states organized or confirmed the organization of such events. The National Day of Moldova will be staged on August 29.
“It is a special occasion for promoting the companies interested in establishing international partnerships and extending exports. These are mainly companies working in the agrifood industry, winemaking and winegrowing and the textile industry. The visitors wil convince themselves that our products are competitive,” said deputy minister of economy Octavian Calmac.
The Government also approved the composition of the official delegation that will take part in the National Day of Moldova. The delegation includes senior state officials, persons from the administration of the ministries of economy, agriculture and culture and representatives of the Moldova Investment and Export Promotion Organization.
