The Cabinet approved a draft Parliament decision to institute the National Day against Drug Abuse and Trafficking in Drugs that will be celebrated on June 26. The MPs’ proposal is designed to encourage the young people to protect their health and to exclude drugs from their life, IPN reports.
On this day, there will be staged events to raise awareness of the consequences of drug abuse for the life and health and to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports competitions.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, drug use among young people rose from 8% to 19% during the last few years.
