A National Cancer Register will be created to collect and process nationwide data on incidence, prevalence a death rates associated with cancer. The Register will be operated by the Cancer Institute. Its technological concept and operating regulation are included in a draft Government decision that has been put up for public consultations.
The National Cancer Register will register and stock data related to cancer reported by all medical units regardless of their forms of administration.
The Register will become the only authorized source at both national and international level of official data on oncological diseases.
