The national beach soccer team of Moldova has qualified for the playoff round of the 2017 World Championship qualifying competition after beating Romania 7-3, IPN reports.
Earlier, in the qualifying round in Italy, Moldova lost to the current world champion Portugal 0-15 and beat England 3-0.
The national beach soccer team reached the 1/8 finals of the competition for the second time and will continue to struggle for qualification for the 2017 World Championship alongside another 15 teams.
