The National Bank of Moldova is staging financial education events intended for students until March 23 within the International Financial Education Week, IPN reports.
In a press release, the National Bank of Moldova said the children will be guided by experts of the Bank and by volunteer students of the lyceum of the Academy of Sciences, who will give presentations on different themes related to the financial-banking sector.
As a result of an announcement made to select groups of visitors, about 900 students of the first-tenth grades will go to the central bank in the period. Most of these study in the municipality of Chisinau.
The tenth graders will learn to work out a business plan. The visitors will also learn about the national currency and the safety elements used on Moldovan banknotes. Each visit will last for an hour.
