The members of the commission for conferring the National Award decided to open the contest. The recommendation letters of the candidates or groups of candidates can be filed in electronic form to the email address cancelaria@gov.md during July 2-9, until 3pm. The decision was taken in the first meeting of the commission that was chaired by acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi as its head, IPN reports.
“I want to see good candidates in literature, cinematography, medicine, theater and applied or fundamental sciences. The files that will be examined by the commission should contain values,” said Aureliu Ciocoi, being quoted in a press release of the Government.
The Government annually awards up to ten national awards. This year the Gala of the National Award 2021 Contest will be held on August 26. The National Award consists of a diploma, a medal and 100,000 lei in financial reward.
