The National Army on Tuesday will receive another two Piranha armored vehicles from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, IPN reports.
The Piranha vehicles are delivered to help achieve the objective to modernize the National Army based on an arrangement signed by the Ministry of Defense and the German side in October 2021.
The given vehicles are used to train service members who are to take part in international peacekeeping missions.
The first Piranha armored vehicles were delivered to Republic of Moldova in January 2023. In total, the donation consists of 19 Piranha-3 vehicles.
