The municipal authorities of Chisinau assure that the persons who are entitled will receive cold-month allowances. Money for the purpose was earmarked, but delays are witnessed owing to the changes made to the procedures for examining applications and issuing bills, IPN reports.
Officials in charge, in the ordinary meeting of managers of Chisinau services and divisions, said that until now the municipal enterprise “Infocom” issued the heat bills and the allowances could be calculated in advance, before the money was paid to the supplier. Now the bills are issued by the limited liability company “Info Bon”. Acting mayor of Chisinau Silvia Radu requested the deputy mayor in charge, the Public Amenities Division and the district head’s offices to transmit the necessary information in the nearest future so that the next heat bills are recalculated taking into account the cold-month allowances for the previous months.
The new and confirming applications are submitted to the housing sector managers or to district head’s offices and are then examined by the special commissions of the district head’s offices. As many as 28,000 families submitted applications to get cold-month allowances so far.
