Municipality asks consumers to use heat efficiently

The Chisinau City Hall called on the consumers to efficiently use the heat during the 2012-2013 heating season. An order to this effect was signed by mayor general of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo reports. If the temperature is 0ºC and higher, the municipal budget-funded institutions and enterprises are obliged to stop the heat supply between 16.00 and 07.00 and during the day when the average temperature is higher than 8ºC. The municipal medical and education institutions will be able to save heat only when this will not lead to the worsening of the conditions of activity. The housing stock managing companies can save heat by disconnecting the apartment buildings from the heat supply when the average temperature is higher than 8ºC. According to the State Hydrometeorology Service, the temperatures over the next seven days will oscillate between 3ºC and 13ºC during the day and between 0ºC and -5ºC at night.
