Municipality announces contest to lay out pedestrian area on Bulgara St

The Chisinau City Hall has announced a contest for designing the sculptural composition and laying out the recreational area in the square “Noroc” on Bulgara St, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, the contest is aimed at identifying urban and architectural possibilities of creating a recreational area in the pedestrian area on Bulgara St by restoring the fountain, placing urban furniture and building a sculptural composition dedicated to music. The participants in the contest are free to choose spatial-volumetric solutions for building the composition and laying out the square. The contest will be organized and held until December 21. All the works with the contact data of the authors must be presented to the contest’s secretary Sergiu Gatamaniuc until December 14, at the General Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations Division, office 204, or sent by mail to the address: 83 Stefan cel Mare si Sfant Blvd., the General Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations Division, with the mention “for the contest ‘NOROC Square’”. The contest is held under the auspices of the Chisinau City Hall and the band “Noroc”. No honorarium will be paid for the works that will be appreciated in the contest.
