The municipality identified the technical solution for designing the bridge situated on Ismail St in Chisinau, as the head of the General Public Transport and Communications Division Vitalie Mihalache announced in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.
Vitalie Mihalache said that together with the business entity that is based in the building located near the bridge, it was decided to dismantle a part of the building that causes impediments in the examination process. Currently, the parts that are in a state of ruin are being conserved.
Vitalie Mihalache also said that the assessments carried out so far showed that the state of bridges in Chisinau is satisfactory, except for the bridges situated on Ismail St and on Mihai Viteazul St. The works executed on Mihai Viteazul St were reevaluated in terms of costs as the metal and other necessary building materials grew more expensive last year. A tender contest to contract services to modernize the bridge will be announced soon.
