High school graduates, teachers and commission heads sent letters to the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, saying what they liked and what they didn’t like in the Baccalaureate session this year. In the July 15 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, the Division’s head Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said they prepared a comprehensive assessment report that contains suggestions for the future Baccalaureate session.

The Division recommends holding the exams in smaller halls and equipping the halls with jamming devices so as prevent the papers from being transmitted outside the Baccalaureate centers, and simplifying the tests in a number of subjects, including math, while the exam in the foreign language and the exam in Romanian for other language speakers should be taken orally.

In the municipality of Chisinau, the Baccalaureate exams were passed by 72.1% of the candidates, the average grade being 6.56. The additional Baccalaureate session started on July 15. About 8,000 candidates will sit the exams in Chisinau, at 12 Baccalaureate centers.
