Municipal servant caught drunk at work has been fired

An architect employed by the City Hall's Culture Department has been fired after a TV channel exposed him to be drunk at work last week, Info-Prim Neo reports. Victor Sava had been working in the Culture Department since 1992 as inspector of architectural landmarks. Sava was earlier accused of issuing an unlawful authorization for the reconstruction of a historical landmark on Sciusev Street. It was revealed that he had been hired to design the reconstruction. The City Hall said in a press release that Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca requested two other municipal servants to resign. Vasile Ungureanu from the Architecture Department is suspected of corruption, and Dumitru Stoicev from the Public Amenities Department is suspected of issuing unlawful authorizations.
