Municipal councilors approved the construction of the Central stadium

Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) approved today a draft decision on designing and building the „Central Stadium”. The decision to build in the city a new stadium was taken on Wednesday by the Government, appointing as well the investing company. According to CMC decision, the Mayoralty of Chisinau municipality will present till 1 July to the government for approval a plan of real measures on ensuring the design and construction according to the deadline. The designing institute „ChisinauProiect” will present within 10 days to the Municipal Council the urban project of the stadium’s location. The Capital Construction Department willl organize, within 10 days, a tender in order to identify the general entrepreneur that will elaborate the project’s documents. The General Architecture and Urbanism Department together with the Land Department will present, within a month, to CMC proposals regarding the allocation of the land for building the stadium. As well until 1 July, those over 20 locations on the territory planned for stadium’s construction, which were rented to natural and artificial persons, in order to compensate their losses will be checked. Municipal counselors insisted on legalizing through the agency of the CMC decision the investor’s obligation to cover all the expenses for the possible demolishes or evacuations of the future building site.
