Municipal councillor demands more transparency in CMC activity

Councillor Emil Gutu requested at the last week meeting to place all the materials related to the activity of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) on the official website of the Chisinau Mayoralty www.chisinau.md. He also pointed out to the need of allowing downloads from the site of meeting-related materials which will allow avoiding some extra expenses for paper, multiplication, etc. Gutu mentioned that the existing website is good enough and interesting, but is puzzling, as besides the tens photos of the General Mayor, some columns do not contain practically any kind of information, with the meetings minutes, draft decisions, decisions, etc. missing completely. Namely these pages should mirror the CMC transparency and openness towards the citizens, he stated. Gutu said the General Mayor should start drafting the concept of the Mayoralty’s portal.
