According to officials from the Information Development Ministry, the signatory states will insert the translations of the formulas and invariable symbols into the official languages of the new joining states into the forms of multilingual extracts. As a result, Moldova’s joining the Convention will lead to editing the multilingual extracts in its official language.
The Convention was signed in Vienna on September 8, 1976, in order to institute a common regulating frame on issuing extracts from civil status records destined to be used abroad and to abolish the condition to certify these records.
