The lawmakers will resume work in the Parliament’s bodies on September 5. The spring-summer session closes on July 31, according to a decision adopted in the July 22 sitting of the legislative body, IPN reports.
According to the Parliament’s press service, this week the MPs received the annual leave payment and the financial assistance that is 18,880 lei for lawmakers, 20,480 lei for the commission heads and about 23,000 lei for the legislature’s administration.
The MPs have the right to paid leave of 36 days a year, based on a six-day workweek. The leave is usually granted during the Christmas and summer vacations.
The spring-summer session of Parliament started on February 3.
