The MPs of the Shor Party signed a convention to join the parliamentary platform “For Moldova” that will now consist of 14 MPs. In a press release that is quoted by IPN, the party says the MPs agreed to combine forces so as to optimize the Parliament’s activity and to make the MPs more responsible.
In a meeting between the MPs of the two political entities, these noted that the Republic of Moldova faces a profound social and economic crisis that is fueled both by the political instability and by lack of a consensus between representatives of the political class, in general, and inside Parliament, in particular, for identifying a viable solution to overcome this. The discussions also centered on the situation in Parliament, which has been blocked for about a month and a half. The sides agreed to combine efforts to restart the work of the legislature with an agenda centering on anti-crisis solutions and social projects.
Through a video message, the president of the Shor Party Ilan Shor said the MPs met to resume the Parliament’s work right away so that the bills that must be adopted to solve people’s problems and overcome the crisis could be coordinated.
The creation of the platform “For Moldova” was announced earlier this week by MP Ruxanda Glavan who recently left the parliamentary group “Pro Moldova” led by Andrian Candu. Ruxanda Glavan said they aim to reanimate Parliament and to set it back to work.
