The Parliament’s first plenary sitting of the 2018 spring session will take place on February 8. The decision was taken by the Parliament’s Standing Bureau in its first meeting this year, which was held on February 7. The Bureau approved the agendas of the sittings of February 8-16, 2018, IPN reports.

In the first sitting, the MPs will approve the structure and personnel limit of the National Integrity Authority and will name a new judge of the Supreme Court of Justice. They will discuss the bill on nonbanking lending organizations and the bill to ratify the agreement on cooperation in the military sector between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Azerbaijan.

Other bills contain amendments and supplements to the law on fishing and the pisciculture sector, the law on the real estate cadaster and the law on electronic communications. The MPs will also consider the resignation of MP Iurie Leanca and will reexamine the law on the common central securities depository, the law to amend and supplement the Labor Code and Law No. 248 to amend and supplement a number of legal acts.
