MP Oleg Sîrbu, who left the Democratic Party several days ago, announced his decision to join the parliamentary group Pro Moldova that is led by his former party mate Andrian Candu, IPN reports.
“I feel that I belong to the Pro Moldova group, to my colleagues who are close to me by attitude and plans for the future. For my country, my district, my native town, the people, I wish growth, not degradation: the European course should be preserved and the integrity of my country should be ensured; ambitious economic projects should be attracted and implemented; equality and social equality should be ensured; the living conditions of the people should be improved, etc.” Oleg Sîrbu posted on Facebook.
“Oleg Sîrbu, I’m glad to have you near again! An increasing number of MPs elected in single-member constituencies choose to respect not to betray the trust put in them by the people who voted for them,” said Andrian Candu, the leader of the Pro Moldova group.
