The Constitutional Court validated the mandates of Member of Parliament of Moldova of Socialist Irina Mizdrenco and Liberal-Democrat Simion Grishchuk, IPN reports.
Moldova’s Parliament declared vacant a seat of MP held by the Party of Socialists following the resignation of Igor Dodon, who was elected Head of State.
Another seat of MP, held by the Liberal Democratic Party, fell vacant after the legislative body withdrew the seat of ex-Premier Vlad Filat, who got nine years for influence peddling and passive corruption.
The Constitutional Court’s decision is definite and cannot be appealed. It takes effect when it is adopted and is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
