Movies from twelve countries to be screened at European Film Festival

Twelve movies will be presented at the European Film Festival during May 14-18 as part of the Europe Days in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the European Union Delegation to Moldova, which is the organizer of the event, the Festival provides a unique opportunity to approach historical and cultural diversity of the EU Member states, with the movies reflecting the traditions, values and lifestyle of the European countries.
The Festival is open to the wide public and the entry to all the movies is free. The films will be screened in their original languages with subtitles in Romanian.
The Festival will start with a ceremony on Monday, 16:00, and the first film to be shown will be “In a Better World” (Denmark), followed by “Mondays in the Sun” (Spain) and “Rudolf's Gold” (Latvia).
On Tuesday, the Festival will continue with the movies “The Miracle according to Salome” (Portugal), “Protector” (the Czech Republic), “Princess” (Finland) and “Bon Voyage” (the Netherlands).
On Wednesday, the program includes “Innocent Lies” (France), “The Rite of Passage” (Poland), and “Men Who Swim” (Sweden).
The Serbian film “Good Bye, How Are You?” will open the Thursday evening of the Festival, followed by “Nothing Is Better Than Nothing at All” (Germany), “The Great Communist Bank Robbery” (France) and “East Wind” (Hungary).
On Friday, May 18, the European Film Festival will culminate with Tony Hawks' “Playing the Moldovans at Tennis”.
