The movie companies “Prim-Plan Studio”, “Francesco Gagliardi Production” and “Tri T” headed by Valeriu Jereghi, Francesco Gagliardi and Nikita Mikhalkov, will jointly cast a feature in Moldova, called “Dragostea si Razboiul” (Love and War), after a scenario written by the Moldovan director, Info-Prim Neo reports. Italian Francesco Gagliardi bought Valeriu Jereghi's scenario and will fully finance the production. The action takes place in the Second World War spinning around a love story between three Moldovan girls and three soldiers – a Romanian, a Russian and a Italian, in a Moldovan village. “This production will be an absolute premiere for the Moldovan cinematography and will echo far beyond Moldova's borders,” Valeriu Jereghi told a news conference on June 25. The preparation works will last 5 months, and the shootings -- 40 days. 90% of the shootings will take place in Moldova, as renowned actors will be invited from Italy, USA, Russia and Moldova. Parts will be shot in Italy and Russia. “Italian actor Franco Nero agreed to play in the movie, as the music will be written by Stelvio Cipriani,” said Francesco Gagliardi. Italy's ambassador to Moldova, Stefano de Leo, says Moldova is a bridge linking the three countries, and the fact that the movie will be filmed in Moldova proves the enhancing value of this country. “Dragostea si Razboiul” is a second cooperation between Valeriu Jereghi and Francesco Gagliardi. The Italian producer also bought the distribution rights of the movie “Arrivederci” in Italy. It got the Grand Prix of the Euroasian Teleforum in Moscow.
