The Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure calls on the drivers to be careful on the road and to use, in case of emergencies, the hotline of the State Road Administration (022)74 89 61 to ask for the assistance of road workers, IPN reports.
According to the latest information from the State Road Administration, the national roads are passable. The works to remove the layer of ice from roads continue in parts.
For the snow removal works, the State Road Administration stored up almost 80,000 tonnes of antiskid material. This quantity is enough for the whole winter season.
