Motorcyclist struck fatally by car in Chisinau

A 24-year-old man from Chisinau died last night after he was hit by a car driven by a man from Nisporeni. According to the press service of the Traffic Police Division, the accident happened at the intersection of the streets Vadul lui Voda and Maria Dragan, Info-Prim Neo reports. The driver of an Opel car aged 25 did not give way to a motorcycle Yamaha R1 driven by the victim when turning left. Consequently, the two units of transport collided and the motorcyclist died on the spot. Two women of 25 and 26 traveling in the car were admitted to the hospital with closed head injury.
