A man, 36, died instantly Monday night after crashing his motorcycle into a median barrier on Calea Orheiului Street in Chisinau. His passenger, 29, died shortly in hospital.
The Chisinau Police said in a press release the excessive speed and the subsequent loss of steering control could be to blame, but further tests will be carried out, including an autopsy of the motorcyclist, to establish the exact cause.
The Chisinau Police are recommending drivers to strictly follow traffic rules and drive carefully.
