Motorbike and taxicab collide at intersection

Two persons were injured in an accident that involved a motorbike and a cab. Ludmila Untura, coordinating doctor on guard at the Chisinau Emergency Medical Assistance Station, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened at the intersection of Dacia Blvd. and Cuza Voda St in Chisinau’s Botanica district at about midnight. The 31-year-old driver of the bike suffered contusion of the soft tissues of the shank. The female passenger aged 21 fractured the clavicle and was taken to the Emergency Hospital. A woman aged 19 sustained different bodily injuries after a KAMAZ struck her on Onisifor Ghibu St. Another pedestrian was injured on Stephan the Great Blvd. A 30-year-old man slipped and fell from the roof of a garage, receiving injuries of medium severity. On Thursday and on Friday night, the ambulance service had dealt with 682 calls.
