The MPs of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists initiated a motion of no confidence against the policies of pursued by the Ministry of Health managed by Ala Nemerenco. They accuse the Ministry’s administration of mismanagement owing to which people lose their lives. According to them, given such cases, the minister should have submitted her resignation, IPN reports.
In the plenary session of Parliament, Socialist MP Vladimir Odnostalco said that the Minister of Health does nothing but lavishly cut ribbons at inaugural events or boast of equipment with which she has no connection.
Vladimir Odnostalco noted that what has happened lately in the health sector is, to put it mildly, a catastrophe. Horrible things occurred in primary medicine, and doctors are not to blame for them, as the Minister of Health always accuses them.
The MP was interrupted by Speaker Igor Grosu on the grounds that he did not present the text of the motion, as provided by the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure.
Odnostalco continued his accusations in a press conference. "Unfortunately, the management of the Ministry of Health, which is called Nemerenco, is ready to accuse everyone on Facebook – doctors, patients, patients' relatives – because they dared to speak," said the MP.
