Mother stabs son

A teenager was hospitalized after being stabbed by his mother. Anatol Proca, coordinator of Chisinau Emergency Service, told Info-Prim Neo the 16-year-old boy had suffered a knife wound in his chest and was operated in the hospital. The incident happened around 1.30 PM in a house on Frumusica Street, near the Railway Station. At 9 PM, the woman called the Emergency Service to find more about her child, but the operator could hardly understand her, as she was drunk. The police are investigating the case. Another drunk woman, aged 29, fell of the 2nd floor of a block on Braniste Street. She suffered a concussion and a chest contusion. A curios case on Puskin Street kept an ambulance busy for 3 hours. A 6o year old man, reputed musician, who wasn't known to drink alcohol, was found senseless in the court by a neighbor. When he got back on his feet, with neighbor's help, he went in his apartment and locked the door. Because he didn't answer the ambulance doctors, they called the police. The latter called some specialists who unlocked the door for 3 hours. The man was found lying on the floor, in alcoholic coma. Over the last 2 days, the Emergency Service answered 660 calls, 54 of which were related to viral infections, 29 trauma cases, 5 strokes and 2 heart attacks.
