Mother of nine-year-old dies of alcoholism

A 37-year-old woman from Sangera town died from chronic alcoholism, leaving a child aged nine behind, Info-Prim Neo reports. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Evelina Rusu said the woman was found dead by her son. The boy called an ambulance in the hope that his mother will be saved, but it was too late. The same day, a man aged 48 fell while climbing up the stairs and died. The ambulance doctors presumed he died from a cardiovascular disease. The exact cause of death is being established. A boy aged 12 got poisoned with an unidentified substance. He was found on Titulescu St in Chisinau and rushed to the hospital for detox. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams dealt with 632 emergencies, including 37 cases of acute viral infection, 71 cases of trauma, three strokes and 19 deliveries.
