Mother and son stabbed to death in own apartment

A woman and her son were killed in their apartment in Chisinau by unidentified persons. Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat's press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 64-year-old woman and her son aged 31 were stabbed in their apartment located on Moscovei Blvd. Their bodies were discovered by a close relative on the night of August 15. The police are investigating the case to establish all the circumstances of the crime and identify the killers. A number of 108 cases of murder have been reported this year.
