Most Moldovan visas issued to Turkish people

Moldova’s embassies abroad issued 6,716 visas to foreigners over the first six months of the year. Most of the applications for visas were filed by Turkish citizens (4 750), Serbians (189), Macedonians (119), Chinese citizens (117), Lebanese citizens (83), and Indians (77), Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, most of the consular services were provided by Moldova’s consulates in Bologna – 9 029, Moscow – 4 616, and Istanbul – 4 323, while the lowers number of services by the consulates in Vilnius – 9, Tallinn – 49, and Baku – 89. The data about the visas issued by Moldova’s embassies in Minsk, Paris and Vienna have not been yet processed.
