Doctor and associate professor Vyacheslav Moshin, a former associate of the limited liability company Repromed, and his daughter Cristina Moshin are sounding the alarm about the danger that threatens the investment climate in the country. At a news conference held at IPN, the two accused the current administration of Repromed clinic of intending to bring this formerly successful private medical business to bankruptcy, through parasitic companies.

Veaceslav Moshin said that due to his efforts and his team, Repromed achieved remarkable results, being one of the most famous private companies in the Republic of Moldova.  As a result, the accumulated financial resources were used to build and equip Repromed+ hospital, which was opened in 2019. With the opening of Repromed+ hospital, however, things began to change. He practically no longer had access to information about the company’s financial activity, founders’ meetings were formal, the results of the activity were not discussed with him.

“When the company made a profit of 50 million, everything was fine, but when, at the end of 2020, I fell ill with a severe form of COVID and, after I was discharged, I was diagnosed with skin cancer, the ordeal began. Because my health worsened and I was dissatisfied with the way the company was managed, I decided to end my professional activity and I offered the Hotineanu family to buy 50% of the company’s share capital, which belonged to me. But they turned down my offer. He decided to donate his part of the share capital to his children and to a person close to the family.

The situation worsened further. Vyacheslav Moshin said that he was threatened, intimidated by the “Hotineanu clan”. He was told that they had good acquaintances in the judiciary system and people with political influence and he would not get anything and that they would do everything possible to discredit him and his family.

Cristina Moshiin said that in order to bankrupt “Repromed, a number of phantom companies were created, such as SRL AIDMED, SRL Reconstruct Civil and SRL Z-Medizine. The companies had aspects in common with Repromed: the management team, the headquarters and the activity. Without the consent of the partners, the administrator of SRL Repromed Lidia Lysyi (Alina Hotineanu’s mother) transferred the brand Repromed to AIDMED company free of charge.

According to Cristina Moshin, Repromed is now in a critical situation. “In 2020-2023, the profitability rate of Repromed decreased from 30% to 3.4%, whereas AIDMED SRL witnessed an increase from 12.7% to 69.3%. All the costs were covered by SRL Repromed. Throughout this period, they witnessed intimidation actions and had information hidden by the company’s administration.

“During all these years, we have been looking for justice. And through this opportunity, we call on the representatives of the media, the country’s leadership, the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova and the Prosecutor General to help us, to elucidate this high-profile case  because it impacts and endangers the entire investment climate in the Republic of Moldova,” stated Cristina Moshin

Repromed clinic, which was one of the most important private institutions in the Republic of Moldova, is today in a disastrous situation. . Its net profit decreased from 46,211,700 lei in 2021 to 3,336,994 lei in 2023. At the same time, AIDMED, using the same space, the same personnel and equipment as SRL Repromed obtained exceptional results - 15 811 430 lei in 2021 and 73 697 200 lei in 2022. Stated Cristina Mosin.

Lawyer Tudor Leșanu said that he made an appointment with Repromed and was received by staff and doctors with Repromed badges. All the services were provided under the brand Repromed, but the payments made for these services went to the legal entity SRL AIDMED, according to the receipts. The Repromed brand no longer belongs to the limited liability company Repromed. “This concession of the brand was illegal as the associates of SRL Repromed did not vote for such cession,” stated the lawyer.
