Moscow welcomes the formation of a ruling coalition and of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and expresses hope that the situation in Chisinau will normalize in the interests of all the Moldovans and of the progressive development of the country, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
According to the Ministry, a dialogue that will involve all the responsible political forces is the only method for resolving the domestic political crisis in Moldova, in accordance with the generally accepted democratic principles.
The Ministry notes it is ready to cooperate with the democratically elected authorities of the Republic of Moldova so as to restore the mutually advantages Moldovan-Russian relations in different areas, in accordance with the principles of the Friendship and Cooperation Treaty of 2001.
