Moscow Mayor offers scholarships to students in Transnistrian region

Eleven students in the Transnistrian region will get $435 scholarships for a period of 6 months from the Mayor of Moscow, PMRinform reported. The government of Moscow has been offering merit scholarships to students in the region since 2008. So far 28 students received such scholarships. Applicants should have an excellent academic standing and be actively involved civic work. Priority will be given to orphans and students from vulnerable families. The government of Moscow offers scholarships to students in a number of foreign countries, including Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
