The leader of the Communist Party Vladimir Voronin said that nobody in the Russian capital tells them what political moves to make in Moldova and such issues as the early elections and the candidate for the presidency weren’t raised during his recent visit to Moscow, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”During the meeting with the Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Naryshkin, we didn’t discuss the possible early elections. We spoke about the real political situation in Moldova. No name of Moldovan politician was mentioned,” Vladimir Voronin said in the program “Replica” on Prime TV. He stressed that when Sergey Naryshkin paid a visit to Moldova last December, he met with the leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova Marian Lupu and now inquired why those discussions did not lead to results. ”I discussed neither the early elections nor possible post-election coalitions with Sergey Naryshkin. I don’t know if Moscow would back Vlad Filat for the post of head of state. At least I didn’t here something like this,” said the Communist lawmaker. During his visit to Moscow last week, Vladimir Voronin had meetings with Sergey Naryshkin, State Duma Deputy Chairman Ivan Melnikov and his Russian counterpart Gennady Zyuganov.
