More than 900 people have been attacked by stray dogs since the beginning of the year, according to information confirmed by the Public Health Center. Eugeniu Axentiev, the interim director of Autosalubritate Directorate, told about this during a City Hall meeting, IPN reports.
Autosalubritate Directorate receives daily requests to catch dogs.
Eugeniu Axentiev argues that the possibility of keeping the dogs on the necropolis territory is limited, because its capacity is up to 300 animals.
During this year over 2200 dogs were caught, half were sterilized.
