More than 40 persons taking part in Japanese language contest

More than 40 persons are taking part on Saturday, December 16, in the Japanese language spoken in the R. Moldova contest, organized by the Foundation for Moldovan-Japanese relations (FRMJ). The president of the foundation, Valeriu Banzaru, told Info-Prim Neo that the goal of the contest is to appreciate the knowledge of those studying Japanese at the FRMJ. At the same time, the contest is looking forward to promoting the image of the R. Moldova abroad. The youngest participant is 9, and the oldest – almost 50. The participants are split into 3 categories, depending on their age and proficiency in Japanese and will be presenting a communication on a topic of their own choice. The topics that are encouraged are those linked to the Moldovan-Japanese relations, whereas the ones carrying political or religious implications are forbidden. The second Japanese language spoken in the R. Moldova contest, organized by the Foundation for Moldovan-Japanese relations is held with the support of the international organization Japan Foundation and the Japanese Embassy for the R. Moldova located in Kiev.
